Last week feels like an eternity ago, yet the days flew by. I almost forgot it was my blogging day!
I didn’t realize it until I asked The 13-Year-Old what day it was, and he responded with the classic, attitude-saturated, “It’s Wednesday, Mooommm. duh.” as only a teen could do.
Boy, do I love nearly 14. He’s got the tude, but he’s also super fun to hang out with.
Anyway, this past week has been a bit of a blur. I’m going to let the photos I took since last Wednesday drive my post.
These Two
This is the first picture on my phone since posting last week, and I don’t want to be the only one who sees it.

I mean, look at these two cuties.

I know. I’m biased, but come on. Super cute! Am I right?
Sourdough Updates
I didn’t make bread this past week, but I made pizza!

I can’t believe how good it came out. Better than any yeast-based pizza dough I’ve ever made, that’s for sure!
I mostly followed this technique and made everyone a personal pizza. Of course, mine was a little extra:

That’s ground lamb, oregano, and feta. I highly recommend this combo!
Double Trail Time!
I realized last weekend that February was slipping away, and I made no progress toward reaching my twice-a-month hiking goal.
So, on Saturday, The 19-Year-Old, Marsh and I hit a local trail for a couple of miles in the afternoon.

Then, on Sunday, I wrangled The Husband to go!

More Goal Achieving
In addition to the hikes, I checked my last box for yoga this month, going three times, and I simply painted more.

Our Bird Obsession
So, I haven’t mentioned this, but I’m working on a fun video that showcases all the birds that have been coming to my bird feeder. Here are a few screenshots:

Yes. I know I’m old. Yes. Everyone makes fun of us.
I don’t care! The husband and I are having a blast birdwatching. It’s becoming a thing for us, and I am here for it!
This is the kind of energy I need in my life right now.
2025 Goal Check-in
