I am simply popping in tonight to keep up my weekly blogging streak. I have not missed a week since January 2025, and I don’t want to give up on it now. So here I am!
It’s been a crazy week that kicked off with our air conditioning bombing during the latest heat wave.

Then the dryer decided to break.

It’s the last week of classes, so I’m trying to keep up with the tidal wave of late work from my students. My youngest had a doctor’s appointment, and I needed to pick up my new pair of progressive glasses (which I’m still getting used to… not sold yet!) because I can’t see anything anymore.

So, I will not be updating my goals this week like I said last week.
Overall, I’ve been doing a great job of keeping my shit together and still carving out time for me. I am definitely neck deep in doing what I can, when I can… and it is enough.

You’re doing just fine! Great attitude to keep! Hang in there!
Progressives are weird to get used to, but can be awesome once you get the hang of them. My main complaint is having to tilt my head in awkward ways to see things in different places within my field of vision. My three-monitor setup doesn’t play nice with my glasses, that’s for sure…
Way to keep up the blogging streak! Keep on keepin’ on.
Funny you should say that because my least favorite thing about them is working on the computer. My multi monitor set up is giving me trouble too.
Hi Roni! I read your blog waaaaay back in… I want to say 2010ish(?) back when blogs were “the thing” and have kept you in my feedly through the years, enjoying your updates. I’m just hopping into the comments to let you know that yesterday, facing a sink of dishes, I thought to myself “What you can, when you can” and figured I’d just do a few. Of course I ended up doing them all, but as I scrubbed away, I thought about how useful that phrase has been to me, and wanted to let you know that WYCWYC continues to be a valuable mantra for me. All the best to you! Stay cool! 🙂
Thank you so much for sharing this! Totally made my day!!
