Every semester, when classes end, I think it’s going to be this great big relief, and it is, to an extent, but then meeting and planning season begins.
I gave a presentation yesterday (photo above). I’m preparing for another next week. Summer classes start in two weeks, and I’m working on some materials for the department.
That’s it. That’s all I’ve got this week. My brain is fried.
I have just enough energy to do a quick goal check-in.

#SaladTime
Revised Goal: 5 Big Salads a Week ✅
I am marking this one complete because I’m going to make my 5th one after posting this.

Again, let me see if I can remember them…
Top left: skirt steak, sweet potato, sautéed peppers and onion with balsamic over mixed greens.
Top right: mixed greens with grilled chicken, grape tomatoes, pistachios, parmesan, and white balsamic.
Bottom left: mixed greens with grilled chicken, roasted red pepper, pistachio, parmesan, sourdough croutons, and balsamic.
Bottom right: mixed greens with grilled chicken, grape tomatoes, feta, oregano, and white balsamic.
I have a faint memory of putting apple in one, but I can’t remember, and my pictures are too blurry to tell. lol Regardless, I’m eating my greens!

Looking Ahead
I’m so depleted right now that I can’t use any brainpower to think ahead. And you know what, I don’t think that’s a bad thing at the moment. I’m just gonna be.

Gee, it sounds like you are WYC-WYC 🙂
My son knows how you’re feeling, with classes over and a new year to prep for. Those instructors who give a darn, CARE about their teaching. I can certainly tell that you DO care a lot about your students and your teaching. Good for you!!!
Okay I am loving this!!! It’s like a game of making your life fun and well rounded. I need to get out of my comfort zone.
