It occurred to me as I sat down to post this:

I am 48.

Monday was our 24th wedding anniversary.

That means I’ve been married for half of my life?

That’s wild.

Spring break may be over, but what a fantastic week it was, full of food and family.

Back in the day, Easter was the first family holiday I hosted as a new mom, and we still use the holiday as a reason to get the whole family together.

It’s nice.

But, before I share Easter photos, I have some fun food to share!

One of the best perks of being a college professor is Spring Break. I’m lucky mine aligns with our K-12 school district, so I’m off the same week as the kids. Well, kid—only one of them is still in public school.

Again, what a week!

I’ve been getting back into my photo-taking habit, and it’s really helping me remember the week. Without the photos, I would definitely have difficulty recalling the last seven days.

My memory just isn’t what it used to be. Old age, maybe?

Regardless, if my memory didn’t make me feel old, this photo sure did!

I had to do a side-by-side comparison.

The last seven days have been a bit of a blur. So I will do what I do and let my photos remind me what happened since last Wednesday.

Plus, there’s like a million things I want to tell you!

My brain is going a mile a minute. So let’s just start.
